10 St. Petersburg places whose own sites name a patio, deck, rooftop, beer garden or outdoor seating, on Beach Drive, the St. Pete Pier and beyond.

Last checked 2026-10-11. Refreshed every three months.

St. Petersburg’s outdoor tables cluster on the waterfront: along Beach Drive, where Bella Brava, Parkshore Grill and The Birchwood’s rooftop sit across from the parks, and out on the St. Pete Pier, with a deck, a beach bistro and a rooftop bar. Away from the water, the breweries in the Grand Central and EDGE districts have a beer garden and a backyard.

How we made this list. We started from OpenStreetMap records inside St. Petersburg’s city limits that are tagged with outdoor seating, the same records that feed our local directory, and checked each place against its own website on Oct. 11, 2026. A place is listed only if its own site, or the St. Pete Pier’s restaurant page, names a patio, deck, rooftop, beer garden, backyard or outdoor seating; a map tag alone was not enough. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. A place can write to us to correct its entry.
