St. Petersburg’s weekend brunch runs along Beach Drive’s waterfront dining row, out to the end of the St. Pete Pier and west along Central Avenue. The places below post their brunch hours, or say they serve brunch, on their own websites or the Pier’s. Holiday brunches (Easter, Mother’s Day) are on their own pages when restaurants announce them.

Beach Drive

Birch & Vine is the restaurant at The Birchwood, 340 Beach Drive NE. It serves brunch 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, and brunch and dinner from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. It is closed Mondays and on Christmas Day, and the restaurant says its sidewalk seating is dog friendly. Reservations are on the Birchwood’s site.

Cassis, 170 Beach Drive NE, lists brunch from 8 a.m. Its Sparkling Sundays run 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with $33 bottles of sparkling wine, by the restaurant’s own events page. On Thanksgiving Day it opens at 8 a.m. with its regular brunch menu before a holiday menu from 11 a.m.

On the St. Pete Pier

From the Pier’s restaurant page:

  • Teak, on the fourth floor of Pier Point at the end of the Pier, serves lunch, dinner and weekend brunch with a menu built on coastal flavors and Gulf seafood.
  • Fresco’s Waterfront Bistro, near the entrance to the Pier, has a wrap-around deck over the water and serves lunch, dinner and weekend brunch.

Downtown and Central Avenue

The Library, 600 5th St. S, serves brunch, lunch, dinner and cocktails, with a walk-up coffee bar. Brunch is 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Wild Child, 2710 Central Ave., is a dinner restaurant Tuesday to Saturday that opens for brunch only on Sunday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
