St. Petersburg’s bakeries line 4th Street North, where La Segunda’s Cuban bread shop, a Panera and the Krispy Kreme doughnut shop are, with The Crumb Factory out on Central Avenue in west St. Pete and Golden Krust’s Caribbean bakery on 54th Avenue South.

How we made this list. We started from OpenStreetMap records inside St. Petersburg’s city limits, the same records that feed our local directory, and checked each place against its own website on Oct. 11, 2026. We added places the map missed from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation’s restaurant license records and checked each address against the U.S. Census Bureau’s city-limits map. Many small bakeries in Florida are licensed by the state agriculture department instead, and we list them only when their own site confirms a St. Petersburg address. Doughnut chains that mainly sell coffee are on our breakfast and coffee list. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. A place can write to us to correct its entry.

The places

The Crumb Factory, 5701 Central Ave. A bakery and cafe in west St. Petersburg with a second shop in Dunedin. It takes cake orders as well as running its cafe, and it is open 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. every day.

Golden Krust Caribbean Bakery & Grill, 3010 54th Ave. S. The Caribbean bakery and grill chain’s south St. Pete restaurant. Its site would not load for us; the state inspected it in August 2026.

Krispy Kreme, 9100 4th St. N. The doughnut chain’s St. Pete shop in the north of the city, which also takes catering orders. It opens at 6 a.m. every day.

La Segunda Bakery, 2424 4th St. N. The Tampa Cuban bread bakery, established in 1915, with a St. Pete shop on 4th Street North. It also ships its bread nationwide and caters.

Panera Bread, 1908 4th St. N and 2420 66th St. N. The bakery-cafe chain has two St. Pete restaurants; its store pages would not load for us, and both hold current state food licenses.
