St. Pete Pride has not set its 2027 dates yet. In 2026, Pride Weekend ran Friday through Sunday, June 26-28, and about 300,000 people came, according to St. Pete Pride. The volunteer-led nonprofit calls it Florida’s largest Pride event, anchored by its waterfront parade, and the city lists it among St. Petersburg’s major events as the Southeast’s largest Pride celebration.

What happens in 2027

St. Pete Pride’s new board president, Trent Brock, wrote on the organization’s home page that it needs to raise at least $289,000 by Nov. 30, 2026, to close out this year’s Pride and move forward with 2027. He said sponsorships were down significantly in 2026, the cost of producing large events rose, and the group entered 2026 still paying bills from 2025.

The organization says it has begun planning a 25th anniversary celebration for 2027, but will not keep producing it until 2026 is paid for, and that “St Pete Pride as we know it could be at risk in 2027” without the money. It is asking for donations of any size and for business sponsors.

We will add the 2027 dates, the parade route and the city’s road closures here as soon as St. Pete Pride and the city publish them.

Getting there and parking

St. Pete Pride and the city had not posted 2027 parking or road closure plans when we checked. The 2026 parade and festival used the downtown waterfront along Bayshore Drive NE, and the Sunday street fair used Central Avenue.
